My mom made all of our Christmas stockings from a kit like the one above - and she still uses them each Christmas. I think they are special since so much love and time is put into sewing it all together. I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture, but there are a ton of sequins that have to get attached and very small pieces to cut out. This is going to be a great project! Hopefully I have over a year to complete this, but one never knows!
I was supposed to have a doctors appointment this coming Friday, but the dr.'s office has had to reschedule. I don't go until a week from Wednesday - I'll be 29 weeks then. Crazy! I assume since I never received a phone call (other than to change my appointment) that my bloodwork and glucose came back normal. Actually I had a glucose test the other day at work - in preparation for a new health care plan - and it was normal. Thankfully I don't show signs for gestational diabetes!
We are keeping my parents dog this weekend. Her name is Punkin. Here is a cute picture of the two dogs - Bailey had been asleep - but apparently woke up for the picture.

They are so cute. I just love those dogs. And yes I think that the stocking project is a great idea. I love that you chose a Santa for Makenna, since you have a Santa too. Unfortunately I will have to find a stupid bear if I were to keep up the theme for my children in the way near future. Love you!
