Little one is sick

I suppose that 8 (and almost a half) months is pretty good without an ear infection, runny nose, fever, etc. But, it was too good to last! There was one time that mom took Makenna's temp and it said slight fever, but we haven't duplicated it, so I'm not sure that she is running a constant fever. But, we have a runny nose and some sneezing. I haven't noticed coughing since I have been home. She woke up multiple times in the middle of the night last night, but always seemed to get back to sleep. I finally got up with her at 4:30 or 5 - I can't remember! She was in a really good mood - it just seemed she had trouble breathing every now and again. I tried the blue bulb thing from the hospital - she was not a fan. I got Robert up to help try to get some saline in her nose, but that didn't work. I tried putting her in bed with us with her head elevated, but she couldn't get comfortable. Finally, I held her and swayed with her until she settled and then snuck her back to her bed. We were up until 6:15 - only 15 minutes until my alarm - so I got a nice 15 minute nap. Needless to say, I am off to bed. Hopefully little bit feels better soon!
