Easter

Whew! It's been nice outside here the past couple of weeks, so we've been out a lot. Although, I would say that it is a little too WARM! Hopefully this "cold" front that is coming through at the end of the week hangs around for a bit. I don't know about you, but over 80 degrees at the beginning of April just doesn't sound right. At least to hang around. It would be nice to have spring. But then again, I'm not sure I'd be able to open doors and windows without EVERYTHING turning yellow. Hello pollen - you have arrived.

I've still been feeling pretty good. An occasional pain here and there. I feel HUGE. I can't see how in the world I am going to get much bigger, but I know I will! With the July 12 due date, I am less than 100 days to go. Time is flying by! Soon we will have 2 under 2! Crazy.

I had a good birthday last week and enjoyed the weekend and a little extra time off (due to holiday shutdown at work). I kind of wish I had some more time - it has been nice to run errands and hang out with Makenna. We have been attempting one nap recently. It is going okay - she sometimes gets a little fussy the middle of the morning, but if you keep her busy she seems to do okay. We are still playing with our El.mo Easter basket and eggs. She LOVES to put them in her basket. And if one falls out, she dumps the rest out and puts them all back. Whatever keeps her happy! Here are some pics:

I can do it myself (thank goodness for old t-shirts!):

Sliding with El.mo (or Melmo as pronounced by Makenna):

Easter - we hid eggs in the house before church and then went to Grammy and Pop's for dinner. Had an egg hunt there as well.

All done (this is Makenna's "sign" that she is done):

Kisses for Uncle Jamie (no he was not bribing me with ice cream!):
